JERSEY DESIGN CONTEST
Do you have a new idea for what the Rivermen jersey should look like? Have you always wanted to take a crack at giving the Rivermen a new logo? Do you like the Rivermen jerseys but would love to see a few things changed? This is that chance!
From now until August 1, 2012 the Rivermen are accepting designs for fans to design a Rivermen jersey to be worn during a game in the 2012-13 season. The winning designer will be rewarded with a customized version of their jersey, public recognition, as well as four tickets to the game in which the jerseys will be worn.
This contest is open to fans here in Peoria and all over the world. All you have to do is submit your jersey design via email to [email protected] before Aug. 1. They can be designed on a computer or drawn by hand. Every entry will be considered. From those submissions, the Rivermen selection comittee will narrow it down to three finalists. The three finalists will be voted on through the Rivermen Facebook Page to determine the ultimate winner.
The jerseys will be worn at a yet-to-be-determined game during the 2012-13 season and the jerseys will be auctioned off after the game with proceeds to benefit the Children's Hospital of Illinois.

COMPLETE RULES:
Submissions can be completely unique, or a variation of the Rivermen current logo and/or color scheme. Any new primary/secondary logos must be original designs. Do not steal other people's work, or download from any stock graphic/photo sites.
Note: You may submit either a home white or road dark jersey. The Rivermen will be wearing navy pants for this game.
DEADLINE: August 1, 2012
At that time, the pool will be narrowed down to three finalists and a Facebook vote will begin to determine the winner. Once a winner is selected, the design will be submitted to the AHL and Reebok for approval.
COMPENSATION:
The winner will receive a customized jersey of their winning entry, along w/ 4 tickets to the game in which the jersey will be worn. (For the winner not living in the Peoria area, other merchandise will be given in lieu of game tickets).
Individuals who wish to submit a design, will also have the option to have a link to his/her portfolio on the Jersey Design Contest page on Rivermen.net.
Note: By entering the contest, you allow the Peoria Rivermen to use your artwork for any, and all promotional materials pertaining to the 2012-13 season. Additional compensation may be negotiated with the contest winner should the Rivermen choose to use the artwork for other purposes.
