Peoria Rivermen goaltender Jake Allen will answer fan questions tonight in a live web chat at 7 p.m.  The joint venture between the Rivermen and the Peoria Journal Star will be the first in a series of chats featuring Rivermen players and staff.

The one-hour chat will allow fans to interact with the all-star goaltender and ask questions over the web.  It will be hosted on the PJ Star website through the blog of Rivermen beat writer Dave Eminian – “Cleve’s World.”

Fans can log on by CLICKING HERE.  Starting at 6 p.m. fans will be able to log on and submit questions for Allen as well as being able to interact live throughout the chat.

Allen, a second round pick by the St. Louis Blues in 2008, was named the starting goaltender for the Western Conference in the AHL All-Star Classic on Jan. 31 in Hershey, Pa.  He is 16-9-1 with a goals-against average of 2.14, which is tied for sixth in the AHL.  He leads the league with five shutouts and is third in save percentage at 0.934.
