St. Louis Blues Executive Vice
President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has
extended the contracts for coaches Brad Shaw, Ray Bennett, Corey Hirsch and Scott
are pleased to have our entire coaching staff back to maintain the continuity
of our hockey team,” said Blues Head Coach Davis Payne. “They are a
dedicated staff that handle their responsibilities well and work extremely well
with our players.”
Shaw will be entering his fifth season with the Blues after being
named an assistant coach on July 11, 2006.
He joined the Blues from the New York Islanders organization where he
served as an interim head coach and assistant coach.
Bennett will be entering his fourth full season with the Blues
after being named an assistant coach on December 13, 2006. He joined the Blues from the Los Angeles
Kings organization where he spent seven seasons as an assistant coach.
Hirsch will be entering his second season with the Blues after
being named the goaltending consultant on June 18, 2010. He joined the Blues from the Toronto Maple
Leafs organization where he spent two seasons as the goaltending coach.
Masters will be entering his sixth season as the Blues’ video
coach. He joined the Blues after a
four-year stint with the Florida Panthers organization.
