Season series: Tonight marks the seventh of 12 meetings between the Peoria Rivermen and Milwaukee Admirals this season. Overall, the Rivermen are 1-5-0-0 against the Admirals after they captured a 1-0 win in their most recent meeting last Sunday.  Milwaukee has won all three meetings at Carver Arena this season by a combined score of 9-4 over Peoria. The Rivermen are 22-32-3-3 all-time against Milwaukee since joining the league in 2005.

The Rivermen have scored just one even-strength goal against the Admirals this season.

Team scope:

Rivermen: Peoria entered Friday night’s game against the Chicago Wolves with a four-game point streak, but fell 5-2 and relinquished third place in the Midwest Division.

Stefan Della Rovere and Brett Sonne each scored for Peoria while Ben Bishop saved 27 of 31 shots on goal.

The Rivermen did receive reinforcements on the blue line prior to tonight’s game with the return of Cade Fairchild from St. Louis.

Admirals: Milwaukee took on the Charlotte Checkers in a battle for first place in the Midwest Division last night but came up short in a 4-3 loss.

Chris Mueller and Kyle Wilson each added a goal and an assist in the defeat. Mueller is now the sole leader in both points (25) and goals (14) for the Admirals this season.

Goaltender Anders Lindback was loaned to Milwaukee on Friday and has since played in back-to-back games.

Who's hot: Sonne enters tonight’s contest with points in each of Peoria’s last three home games.
