Rivermen General Manager Kevin McDonald
announced today that the St. Louis Blues have reassigned forward Stefan Della Rovere to the Rivermen
ECHL affiliate, the Evansville IceMen.
Rovere, 22, is working his way back from an injury that he suffered over the
summer and has yet to appear in a game this season for the Rivermen. He is
expected to make his Evansville debut on Wednesday when the IceMen open a
two-game series in Cincinnati.
Rovere’s previous ECHL experience came when he made his professional debut with
the South Carolina Stingrays at the end of the 2008-09 season. He appeared in
two regular season games and registered an assist and six penalty minutes.
