They all look the same but the game doesn’t when you’re in them. Those seats are yours. You sit in them all the time. It doesn’t feel right when they’re empty and it doesn’t feel right with someone else in them. They belong to you and we agree. Why not make it official? Right now is the perfect time to put your name on your seats for the 2010-11 Rivermen season (before someone else does).

Peoria Rivermen General Manager Kevin McDonald announced Thursday that the club has added an additional preseason game on Friday, Oct. 1 at 7 p.m. against the Chicago Wolves. The Wolves will host the game at Hoffman Estates Community Center and Ice Arena.

The Rivermen put the finishing touches on their staff for the 2010-11 season on Tuesday when they announced the addition of Assistant Coach Danny Brooks (pictured) and Strength and Conditioning Coach Evan Levy.  Brooks has spent 14 seasons coaching in college and juniors, including the 2008-09 season when he worked with newly named Tampa Bay Lightning head coach Guy Boucher (background). 

David Spina has spent the last three seasons collecting points against the Rivermen as a member of the San Antonio Rampage.  This year he will be filling a veteran spot on Peoria's roster after the Blues announced they have signed the Springfield, Ill. native to a two-way contract.
