Ryan Reaves Returns :: Winger Re-Signs with St. Louis

St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has re-signed forward Ryan Reaves to a one-year, two-way contract.

 

Reaves, 23, skated in 76 games for the Blues’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate Peoria Rivermen last season, collecting 11 points (four goals, seven assists) and led the team with an AHL career-high 167 penalty minutes.  The 6-1, 225-pound forward has spent the last three seasons in Peoria, playing in 164 games, registering 35 points (16 goals, 19 assists) and 343 penalty minutes. 

 

The Winnipeg, Manitoba native was originally drafted by the Blues in the fifth round, 156th overall in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
